So it's probably high time to write another journal entry, since the last one is what... from 2 years ago? Life's been busy, life's been hectic, and I've discovered a new passion that revolves around sculpting and making masks. So, needless to say, between being absorbed with work, multiple moves, and experimenting in the wide world of sculpture, I haven't had much time for digital art or even sketches.

However, my husband and I have decided we're going to give my mask making skills a run for their money. We're going to start a small business centered around making masks. There are a multitude of ideas in the works to try and improve current mask techniques, costumes, and quad suits (of course this is all mainly for the furry community, but hey!). Okay, so life is interesting. It's been forever since I wrote a journal, much less uploaded anything. So, random updates.

Nursing school was an epic fail. Massage school turned out much better and I'm doing rather well as a massage therapist.

My Dell finally crashed and died. Something went wrong with the LCD screen and since it turns out that with that model, the screen is integral to the boot up, the computer pretty much refused to boot up. Lame! On the upside, I finally caved and bought a Mac.

OMG! Mac is awesome! I've been living on a 2GB Ram, Windows XP for years and trying to use Photoshop. Needless to say, everything I did was WITHOUT the smudge tool because it always slowed the computer down. Zero issues with that with the Mac. Holy cow! Now I understand how people are so fast in Photoshop! They can use the smudge tool because their computer can keep up! Super Schweet! Course, the 4GB of Ram probably really helps too (at least, I think it's that much. I haven't figured out how to check my computer specs on Mac yet). Granted, we got my husband an 8GB quad core a while ago... Even it slows on photoshop. My Mac? ZERO catching up! It runs gorgeously!

Oh, and that complaint people have about Macs running hot? It really helps if you learn how to use "command+q" to shut down programs. I have noticed that if you leave a couple programs just running in the background, it does heat up, but if you actually quit things when you close them, the computer stays relatively cool. So yeah!

My scanner is still dead, but I will probably be able to replace it soon, so booyah! Actually having a decent income really helps.

So I am very happy and getting back to working on digital projects. Maybe I'll actually have something to show for myself sometime soon! Woot!

No journal entries for a year and a half? Yikes... Yeah, I'm still alive, still plodding along when I have the time, and still insanely busy! Aieee!

Maybe one day I'll have something to show for it all. Lol.

Sooooo totally stoked! I finished Master Death, and he's bloody awesome! *'s her dragon*

And I only have two left to do, and he only took me a month! That's just... scary!

Anyway. Happy happy happy!
